Intelligence Simulation – President’s Brief: Coups in Africa

Sep 14, 2023 / 4:00pm - 5:30pm

UVA INTELLIGENCE CAREERS WEEK

Interested in a career in the intelligence community? Join us to participate in an intelligence simulation designed by the NSPC at the Batten School!

Students will participate in a tabletop exercise simulating the creation of a President’s Daily Brief after a series of coups take place in Africa. Working in teams as analysts from the intelligence agencies, students will use a scenario provided to evaluate information, create intelligence, and evaluate potential geopolitical impacts. They will learn about the intelligence process, the agencies’ collection specialties, and how collaboration works across the Intelligence Community.

This event is open to students of all years and majors – but please note that there is A LIMIT OF 30 SEATS – so make sure to register!
