Wilson Cook’s professional experience includes 33 years with the US Intelligence Community (IC) and over seven years with industry supporting the US military and IC.  During much of his analytic career and as a senior and executive leader at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), he worked on a wide variety of intelligence challenges including foreign conventional and strategic weapons programs, defense technologies, asymmetric warfare, defense industries, space/counterspace, the Near East and South Asia, cybersecurity, and intelligence collection.  He was also detailed to the Office of the Director of Central Intelligence as a Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Science and Technology and to the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) as its Director, Office of Strategic Human Capital.  Following his federal service, he worked for two Washington DC area-based companies, serving as a Chief Talent Officer, Vice President for Talent and HR Business Partner, and Chief Human Resources Officer.  Wilson is the recipient of the CIA Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, the Director, NRO Gold Medal for Distinguished Service, and was recognized with the CIA’s Best Management Practices award for his work on diversity initiatives.  He received his B.A. degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia (CLAS 1982) and his M.A. degree in Political Science from Emory University and studied at the University of Michigan’s Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research.
