What is the Eisenhower Series College Program?
During the divisive years of the Vietnam War, the ESCP initially sought to tell the “Army Story”. Then, when tragedy struck at Kent State and students from Dickinson College marched to the gates of the Army War College to protest the killing of four college students by the National Guard, US Army War College faculty altered their mission to focus on having candid discussions with students to improve mutual understanding between the military and the population they serve.
