In the twenty-five years since September 11th, the United States and broader international community have grappled with how to deter terrorist actors, strengthen safeguards against terrorist attacks, and adapt to an evolving threat landscape.  Drawing on their professional experiences, a group of panelists will discuss the evolution of counterterrorism efforts and how policymakers and national security professionals should approach these challenges today.

Moderated by Col. Dan Moy, the panel will feature UVA National Security Policy Center practitioner mentors Carrie Hernandez and Dr. William Prillaman, both career members of the Intelligence Community.
